As part of the data quality improvements in release 1.32.0, we've refined how Dublin addresses are formatted in our premium Ireland dataset (ECAF/ECAD).
Dublin's postal district system (Dublin 1 through Dublin 24, including suffixed districts like Dublin 6W) already identifies an address as being within Co. Dublin — the district number and the county are never independent of one another. Previously, our premium dataset still appended "Co. Dublin" to the end of addresses that already included a Dublin district number, resulting in a redundant, slightly cluttered final line.
Before:

Addresses that already include a Dublin postal district number no longer have "Co. Dublin" appended. The county is implied by the district, so the address line is now shorter and matches the way Dubliners actually write their own addresses.
After:

If you're using our premium ECAF or ECAD datasets for Ireland, addresses with a Dublin postal district will now return without the redundant county suffix. Addresses outside Dublin — where the county isn't implied by a postal district — are unaffected and will continue to include the county as normal.
No action is required on your end; this is applied automatically as part of the 1.32.0 data refresh.
