Release date: June 2026

This release introduces a brand-new premium dataset for Canada, brings further data quality improvements to our Ireland premium datasets, resolves a false-positive issue in the Email Validation API, and adds a new API flag for U.S. ZIP code formatting. It's also accompanied by our regular global address data refresh, with some particularly large coverage gains this time around.

New: Canada Post Premium Dataset for Canada

Canada now has an industry-leading premium dataset option, powered by Canada Post, alongside the existing standard dataset. Clients who need the highest level of address accuracy and validation for Canada can opt into the Canada Post premium tier for an enhanced lookup experience.

Improved: ECAF/ECAD Data Quality for Ireland

We've shipped several quality improvements to our premium Ireland datasets (ECAF/ECAD):

• Fixed an occasional regression where street line information could be swapped with other address fields in ECAF/ECAD results.
• Improved accuracy of Dublin postal districts and counties in returned addresses.
• Improved postal town handling for more consistent results across ECAF/ECAD lookups.

Fixed: Email Validation API — Domain Similarity False Positive

Resolved an issue in the Email Validation API where legitimate email domains that closely resemble well-known providers (such as gmail.com) were incorrectly flagged as likely typos. Domain similarity checks now more accurately distinguish genuine look-alike domains from valid ones, reducing false positives.

New API Flag: usa_exclude_zip_plus4

Added a new API flag, usa_exclude_zip_plus4, for U.S. address lookups. When enabled, this flag removes the ZIP+4 suffix from returned ZIP codes, so you receive the standard 5-digit ZIP code only — useful for integrations that don't require the extended ZIP+4 format.

Global Address Data Refresh

As part of our standard data update cycle, this release includes refreshed datasets across the majority of our live countries. Some notable coverage increases compared to the previous release include:

• Jamaica — address coverage increased substantially, with significantly more addresses now available.
• France overseas territories (Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guiana) — coverage roughly doubled across these regions.
• Tunisia — a sizeable increase in address coverage.
• Colombia — a significant uplift in available addresses.
• United Arab Emirates — meaningful growth in address coverage.
• Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, Brazil — continued steady growth in address coverage as part of routine provider updates.
